Investments are reviewed from the standpoint of insurance coverage under programs of agencies such as the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and the Multi-Lateral Investment Guaranty Agency. Wood Lupascu Dumitrescu & Associates also assists clients in preparing financing documentation for international financial institutions such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the IFC, and the Export/Import Banks of the United States and Romania, with many projects in excess of 100 million USD.
Wood Lupascu Dumitrescu & Associates was instrumental in the establishment, and is a founding member, of the Foreign Investors Council, a lobbying group with authoritative access to the Romanian government and legislature, representing approximately 90% of all foreign direct investment in Romania.
