César Bessa Monteiro, Partner at Abreu, Cardigos & Associados (ACA) and head of the Industrial Property Area of Practice in the firm was a guest participant at the 14th ESA Annual Congress ( ESA – European Sponsorship Association) which took place in Lisbon on the 17th & 18th November 2004.
César Bessa Monteiro made a presentation on: “Ambush Marketing: What problems does ambush marketing pose for sponsors and properties, and is ambush marketing a legitimate form of marketing? How is ambush marketing regulated and what can the sponsorship industry do to minimize the damage ambush marketing can cause?”
Present at the Congress were also M. Richard Veron (UEFA Lawyer) and M. Warren Phelops (from Nicholson Graham Jones Law Firm).
